Esoteric Order of Dagon coconut shell choker

$10.00
The Esoteric Order of Dagon, Innsmouth chapter, founded by Captain Obed Marsh in the late 1830s, is one of the foundation stones of our great city, and a testament to the New Englander's willingness to reach across cultural divides and embrace diversity (even if that diversity comes from aout thar past Devil Reef!).

The current Grandmaster recently returned to the sea, and has re-instituted the Order's original seal as given to us by our islander brethren. Many scholars believe it is composed of elements from Marquesan tattoo art and Egyptian heiroglyphs. In combination, it represents the benefits of the Order: a bounty of fish, gold from the sea, and everlasting life which is granted through our relations with the denizens of the deep.

This beloved symbol is etched on a coconut shell choker, similar to what our islander brethren may have worn when first encountered by Captain Obed Marsh. Strung on an adjustable cord, it is meant to be worn snug to the throat.
